On one of our recent trips searching out hidden goods to rework, we discovered a few original US M65 Liners, these are an iconic cold weather piece of kit, that originated from the 1970’s Vietnam War era.
We knew we had to have them, we never know when we’ll find them again.
We created a unique pattern here in our studio for this style, which is often the case when reworking existing garments for their next chapter.
Working with new fabrics on the roll would be so much easier, quicker and cheaper, but these original pieces we just had to rework, we’re not here for an easy life!
This project really has become a labour of love, not one piece is the same, matching up the different shades that work together is a job in itself and that is just the start, then binding all the inner seams for that quality finish.
It takes time and attention to detail to create this super subtle tone on tone v panel vest.
For this reason we are offering this piece as “Made to Order” only (this does not affect your rights should you decide to return the piece for refund or exchange) Please allow us 10-14 days from when you place your order to Rework your unique piece.
We truly love the style and versatility offered from the humble vest, pretty much an all year round piece that can be worn under or over and always with a two way zip which is ideal for styling and layering.
These truly authentic garments will all be very similar, but it’s not possible to make them identical, which is something we really love about this project.
Each piece is individual with it’s own history and story to tell.

- 30* wash, Do not tumble dry, Do NOT Iron, Do not bleach, Do not dry clean. Wash similar colours together.
