CRD Wool Jacket
A beautiful yarn dyed 100% wool cloth from the mills archive.
Has the feel of your favourite cardigan.
Dyed, woven and finished in the North of England at a historic textile mill dating back to the 1800s.
A mid weight cloth, warm enough for colder days, yet versatile enough to wear throughout most of the the year as a standalone piece or layered when the temperature drops.
We have less than half a roll of this beautiful cloth. We’ll make around 6 pieces across sizes. It’s highly unlikely we’ll ever see this cloth again, therefore if you like this piece….
Each piece is individually cut and sewn in our home town of Derby, UK.
Constructed on vintage industrial machines using traditional methods, every inner seam is taped and bound to give the piece a quality long lasting finish inside and out.
Two classic lower workwear lined pockets, each with a single pocket insert. An outer chest pocket and handy inner chest pocket with profile stitching add further functionality.
Buttonholes are individually cut, one by one, on an antique 1920s Singer buttonhole machine. Finished with sustainable British made Corozo buttons.
Every detail is considered. Nothing is automated, nothing is rushed.
A short production run of around 8 pieces, across all sizes.
Making just a few, for the few.
