Mills Chambray Shirt

A classic chambray cloth in 100% cotton that will only get better with wear.
This archived premium deadstock cloth was originally yarn dyed indigo and woven in Italy.
The shirt has a squared-off hem and is designed to be worn out , not too long, not too short, with sleeves cut to the right length. It works just as well worn simply on its own as it does layered over a T-shirt or underneath knitwear or a jacket.
The one-piece collar sits well when the top button is done up, giving the shirt a clean, considered look. The button positioning also means it works equally well with the top button undone.
Garment dyed in Great Britain to create this mocha colour with a hint of indigo, it’s an easy colour to wear and works well with navy, greys, khaki, brown, sand, pretty much any colour.
The garment dye process also softens the cloth and eliminates shrinkage during home laundering.
There’s an outer chest pocket and a handy inner chest pocket, both finished with outer profile stitching and subtly secured at stress points.
The shirt is cut and sewn in our home town of Derby, Great Britain, in small limited batches. The quality and make are first class.
Constructed using traditional French seams on vintage industrial machines, all inner facings are taped and bound for a quality finish inside and out.
Buttonholes are cut one by one on a 1960s vintage industrial Brother machine, no modern automated machinery involved , then finished with quality double stitched buttons.

Wash Care:
30* wash, do not tumble dry, warm iron, do not bleach, do not dry clean. Wash similar colours together.

Below are technical measurements when the garment is laid flat, these measurements will be bigger than your actual chest measurement, allowing room for movement.
Chest measurements are taken 2cm below armpits.
Back length does not include the collar or rib.
