Tank-Stop Liner Vest
Made to order - Ready 7-10 days after placing your order.
Special Project No 18
Made by hand in our home town of Derby, UK, using authentic work-wear, military, utility and left over "new" dead stock materials. We only rework small batches to a very high standard that are individually numbered and dated. Each piece is unique with it’s own history and story to tell.
It started with what was left behind.
Some pieces simply take longer. That’s the nature of doing things well.
Sustainability & Circularity lie at the heart of Reworked 348. With this piece, we’ve taken it a step further.
Using the leftover offcuts from our unissued 1990s Tank Crew Coverall Liners, we’ve taken what most would consider waste and found purpose for it.
There is value and beauty in what’s left behind, you just have to see it.
After creating a unique pattern in our design studio, each individual offcut is carefully cut and stitched together to create a lightweight thermal lining for this vest, finished with part of the original rib collar from the Tank Crew Coverall Liners.
No two linings are the same. Each is a unique collage of hidden colour, design and history, making every vest its own.
Made one by one in our home town of Derby, UK, in a small limited batch and constructed on vintage industrial machines.
The outer vest is made from a lightweight, dry wax 100% cotton ripstop archived cloth in a muted navy blue. Woven in the North of England by a mill that began weaving in the 1800s, the dry wax finish gives the cloth a weather-resistant quality.
Two classic lower liner pockets are joined by inner and outer chest pockets with profile stitching, finished with a British made quality full length two-way zip; practical, functional and ideal for styling and layering.
Nothing is rushed. Nothing is automated. Every detail is carefully considered.
Making just a few, for the few.

Measurements & Sizing
True to size, go for your regular size.
Below are technical measurements when the garment is laid flat, these measurements will be bigger than your actual chest / body measurement, allowing room for movement.
Chest measurements are taken 2cm below armpits.
Back length does not include the collar or rib.
If unsure about sizing, measure one of your own garments that fits and compare.
If you require any help with sizing or otherwise, please get in touch as we would be happy to assist.
